Voodoo Brewing Company
Voodoo beer was first brewed in 2005 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where we call home. Our artisan beers developed a stellar, local reputation and word spread quickly to surrounding areas. Before we knew it, folks were traveling an hour north from Pittsburgh, or 2 hours east from Cleveland for a chance at grabbing some of our newly released beer.
Our following quickly grew massive and loyal, and our place in the craft brewery sphere was solidified. We were successful, but we knew we had the potential to be even more. As early as 2010, new leadership pushed Voodoo to an entirely new level, in terms of both beer and, more importantly, experience. This led to the opening of the first VBC brewpub in 2012. It was modeled after European beer halls, focusing less on cheap beers, shots and TVs, and instead more on delicious, thought provoking beers, food and cocktails, as well as community and human interaction. From there, we’ve only seen upwards growth.
