When I ordered this I thought it was macaron…I was pleased to learn it was macaroon! I wasn’t sure I wanted a meringue flavored stout!! This is strong stout with cloying caramel & just a hint of coconut…I like more coconut in my macaroon and my macaron!

The cacao here is very well done, comes off as very chocolatey without any of that dry bitterness I usually get. Picking up the coconut. Adjuncts here are very mild. Was worried the ginger would overpower. Great balance. Good hit of barrel as well.

Fijn om weer eens een dikke stout te mogen proeven. Vind deze erg lekker....kokos goed vertegenwoordigd, gember kan ik niet echt traceren. Deze doet me enigszins aan de regular denken qua smaak. Ik geniet hiervan...een dikke 4.50 score voor mij.
