One of those pleasant surprises. Still holds a little carb. Oxidation has been relatively kind. Typical sherry, leather and dried fruit notes with this age of beer but still a bit of brightness as well.

First aromas to escape are not so good: acetic and rotten fruit, medicinal notes. After a moment the nose settles. Leather and wet wood in the cellar is what remains, mixed with dried fruits and sweetest Tokaji Aszú. The 44 years have ravaged the taste..
