A cuveé consisting of Barleywine and Imperial Stout aged in Bourbon barrels. The Barleywine is more forward, and gives the characteristic caramel/toffee flavor, raisin, and molasses. The Stout complements with chocolate, and the bourbon underlies all.

Aged 6 years and this one is much improved over the 2016 bottle (still pales compared to a fresh Spirit Beast). Belgian Quad character is notable. This is still a good beer! Won’t slap a rating on here since this is 6 years past production.
