Barry

Lactones and buckthorn on the nose. Palate is vinous. Balance of tannins and acidity also reminds me of sea buckthorn, if not quite as full on. Lots of potential, but I'm not too keen on where the balance sits.

This is a beautiful bourbon BA imperial stout & Chardonnay BA sour that was blended and aged for another 12 months in a fresh bourbon barrel. It's very tart, boozy, vinous red wine, woody, figs. Chocolate comes through after it warms up a bit.
