Taste is smokier still, exhibiting an almost a hickory note, before settling down into a softer wood character with a touch of buttered brown toast, all the while accented by lightly tart red wine and even apple wine. Cheers!!!🍻

Been a very long time since I’ve had this style. Vinous with lots of tart dark fruit jammy notes- cherry, pomegranate, etc with an earthy funk. Some malt peeks through at the end. Will go pretty well with my turkey casserole.
