Tastes like a twix bar, lightish body with a very full head. The color is almost deceptive and takes the appearance of a darker beer, but if you look past the expectation of dark flavor and simply enjoy it. It's quite good.

Darker than i expected. Big caramel flavor. Pretty sweet. Like a chocolate caramel candy. Got a strange dog food dry kibble note on the nose. Somehow not complaining though 😂😅. I was inoculated by this beer against the disease of sobriety.

This is a great dopplebock, but I haven’t had one in a while so take this with a grain of salt. Definitely on the hearty side but I appreciate the lower abv for a doppel.
