Sehr sauer, sehr aromatisch, sehr voll durch kräftigen Alkohol aber nicht spritig. Fass-Aromen mit leichtem Holz. Die Amerikanische Heidelbeere bringt leicht marmeladige kräftige Frucht, die aber eher nicht an Heidelbeere erinnert.
