The fanged frog of Thailand is a diabolical beast of the forest. In its honor, we barrel-aged this English-style barleywine ale, deepening its soul with rich notes of vanilla, oak, and dark fruit. Loaded with Thai chili peppers to ignite the senses, this spicy, caramel-malt brew now carries the warm, haunting spirt of the barrel - a jungle heat tempered by smooth, smoky depth. This one will truly bring out the devil in you.

This is way late cause I had this on Dec. 5th but this was amazingly smooth and clean for how high the abv. Exceptionally well balanced. Incredible.

Any Thai chilis & even Belgian notes I got before seem to have receded entirely w aging. It's richer, deeper, fuller & fucking delicious. Dark char, Riesen, vanilla brownie, brown sugar & maple bruleed oats. Small prick of heat, for 18% & chilis? Insane.

A truly unique brew. You get the malty caramel notes, a nice little pepper heat on the throat at the finish, and just a hint of bourbon notes. sweet heat!
