Almost 8 years later, it's not as outright smoky as fresh, but it's still roast forward, w/lots of molasses and a dark chocolate/dry cocoa finish (Eileen G. is right: baking chocolate.) Definitely a heavy boy. Good base for bbl-aging but one note as is.

Vintage 2016. I believe this this batch #1. It’s a 13.8% ABV Triple Oatmeal Russian Imperial Stout. It’s thick and heavily roasted with malt, coffee, tobacco, raisins, caramel, dark chocolate, black licorice, and alcohol. Surprisingly it’s not boozy.
