Gotta say this base beer is excellent, right up there with the Eclipse 50/50s of a decade ago; it’s that good. The hazelnut accents positively, the ingredients don’t make this one too sweet, the beer is excellent! I think the adjuncts kick this up 1/4.

12/6/23 Viscosity’s thicker than normal for Bruery, yet balanced. Hate it when the barrels disappear into the background, NOT the case here. Brandy barrels stand out followed by a gourmet fluffer nutter soaked in bourbon. “Pastry Stout” excellence.

Not crazy nutty. All the barrel brings out the coconut and vanilla more. Plenty of fruit. Dates? Not pure syrup and somewhat balanced sweetness.
