This Imperial Stout was brewed with tons of European and American malt before aging in California grape brandy and Kentucky bourbon barrels for 20 months. This blend showcases what can be uncovered when you explore beyond your comfort zone, together. Made in collaboration with our buds at Bissell Brothers in Portland, Maine. We set out to make an Imperial Stout melding an intriguing blend of European caramel and chocolate malts. The can showcases the dynamic art of our own John Schriner.

Really an amazing barrel aged stout. Different from any and all I’ve had before. Maybe it’s the grape brandy barrels. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Zero burn, but holds all the barrel age standards. Ends up full of delicious milk chocolate flavor and finishes so, so smooth. 🔥

Sweet, dark roast malts, cacao, chocolate, bourbon, sharp, sweet brandy. Hazy, very dark brown, small, creamy, beige head. Light bitter. Fruity, sweet, dark roast malts, bourbon, sweet grape, boozy brandy, soft carb, full bod. Outstanding, rich, complex.
