Scotch Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout This version of Black Tuesday spent 18 months developing in Speyside Scotch barrels. Pouring a rich, thick, jet-black, the nose is gently greeted by big notes of dark chocolate and dark fruit. The palate follows suit with a light peatiness, brought forth by the barrels, and accentuates the notes of roast, dark chocolate, and caramel.

Man this is good. Still some heat but aged so well. Almost a butterscotch element with the Smokey caramel on the finish.

Christ is this big (that’s what she said). Big peaty scotch nose. Intense, peaty/scotch, chocolate, roasted/charred meats, peanut/salt, dark fruits. Boozy AF despite sitting on this.

香氣印象與基本版類似，但初入杯的雪莉感略少、酒精與木桶感較凸出。入口焦糖、烘烤、黑可可、咖啡、堅果等風味豐厚依舊，桶陳的香草、蜜餞、烈酒胡椒特徵清晰、帶些隱晦的酸氣。酒花風味依舊低、帶少許橘皮、苦韻中等。發酵果酯感適度、發酵程度充足、酒感依舊隱蔽，尾韻主軸主要為基酒的風味輪廓、尾韻依稀帶些泥煤煙燻感

Another fun series to enjoy. Normally not a scotch fan but the peat wasn't overbearing on this. Solid!
