More tart than sweet, but the rapport between the two is at a level not many meads hit. Inky black, 100% currants, the Heather honey just coats the tongue. I have to recognize I won't have many meads as fantastic as this bottle.

Aged well. This is tasty balance of nice currant juicy slight tart and bold honey notes. Love the bolder honey so it isn't overpowered by the currants.
