My favourite of the Black Damnation series so far. Without having to read, you can say it’s aged in Isla whiskey (ardbeg) barrels. This beer finally gets to a level of quality & deliciousness where I can look past of it being a Belgian Royal.

Opened this monster. Every flower in the garden died immediately. 18% beer that drinks like an 8.1% beer. Thin, but very alcoholic, peated, chocolate, bitter. Never been too crazy about peated stouts, but can't go wrong with Struise. 2021 vintage.
