Good body and solid barrel oak that lingers for a while. But it’s also quite sweet and a bit one-dimensional at that. There is an immediate sweet, syrupy and slightly fruity hit but not as many layers as the label would make you think.

Seldom do I see what I call an “alcohol triple point” beer. Heavy oak, I can smell and taste all 4 barrels. Cognac is a barrel you don’t see much. This is a wonderful tannic and oaky medley salute to the world of beer, spirits, and wine. Perfection!
