I was worried this stout would be too sweet, but this has a nice understated sticky bun flavor. The flavors of cinnamon, maple, and pecan are subtle with no sugary sweetness.

It really tastes like a sticky bun. Notes of cinnamon and mild vanilla and a nutty finish. I think the bourbon barrel is stifling the sweetness, which is great. 4.1

A very tasteful approach to the sticky bun but it nicely conveys the intended target. Thinnish stuff but it leads with charred wood & ashy coffee grinds, quickly followed by cinnamon & sweet pecan/maple syrup. The bourbon barrel is light but is a balancer
