Dark, quite tangy and funky, with some woody notes. While I like it, it feels like it would be pretty divisive. Similar to a Jolly Pumpkin-style Berliner sour.

Historical beer - Berliner braunbier. Like the weisse but darker, more tart and malty. Notes of tart cherry up front along with chocolate, raisins and chicory(?) but definitely wood. Interesting style and beer. Complex for sure.

This is pretty temperature dynamic and really drinks significantly differently at cellar temp. I've never had anything like this before. Really good though.
