Celebrating Fathers Day with a gift from my son from a couple years back. Snacking with macadamia nuts is pretty nice. The beer has little carb, sweet blueberries and almond aroma and flavor on top of typical chocolatey full bodied base. Decadent

It’s all still there, but not as pronounced as I recall … mellow blueberry pancake syrup, light marzipan and rich dark chocolate stout with plenty of barrel warmth. Glad it’s time to drink this final bottle from the cellar on Christmas Eve 🎄

After we DPed most of our Good Gourd 2014, this was a nice reprieve for our palates and was a true dessert. Awesome blueberry @ marzipan still amidst a solid mouthfeel, good barrel, and nice sweetness. My mom also really enjoyed it, so that’s a win, too!
