LCI- very similar to the base beer when cold. REALLY opens up as it warms. All the bourbon notes without a ton of heat. Velvety chocolate, tobacco leaf, dark fruit, maple, maybe some leather in there. Just divine. Wish I had another bottle.

Cold this has a slight maple chocolate w/smooth malt & nice body leading to the barrel & bourbon. As it warms, you get the bitter chocolate w/ bourbon & raisin w/ a touch of cherry before the drying of the barrel at the end. This was good!

Very nice bottle to share with my daughter after she ran the spartan race in Elkhart IN. Pours dark en thick, bitter dark chocolate with notes of bourbon barrel. The 15% ABV makes it’s self known as it warmed in the glass.
