This Pastry Stout brewed with flaked maize exhibits notes of rich milk chocolate, dark brown sugar, creamy espresso, and chocolate-covered peanut butter cups. Whose moon is this? Sneaking into my bedroom, carefully making the bed with its light, reading the spines of my books, pressing its little paws across my half-closed eyes. Recognizing herself against the snow outside my window, where steam curls out the buck's soft nose from the engine of its heart. In her shadow against the trees, old houses slump their shoulders as chimneys puff their pipes. She has so many names without ever saying a word, cradling all that the day has tried to steal. Hold on to Moonshine is a rich and delicious stout intended to be savored in the quiet half of our days. A nod to our award-winning distillery, we included a thoughtful addition of flaked maize. This highly fermentable grain adds a novel flair of dryness to an otherwise decadent Pastry stout. Brewed with Pale and Chocolate malts, Lactose, Coffee, Cacao, and Peanut Butter, it exhibits notes of rich milk chocolate, dark brown sugar, creamy espresso, and chocolate-covered peanut butter cups.
