The special 10 Year Anniversary Blend of Continuance needed to have special threads. At first, this was going to be called Lairds Apple Brandy M.J.K., but we reserve the M.J.K. name for a beer when it has triple-barrel-aged threads as at least the main component. This double-barrel-aged English Barleywine is a blend exclusively of our M.J.K. Mash #1 recipe brewed in 2021 and aged in Willett Family Estate Bourbon Barrels. In 2022, the M.J.K. barrels were racked to fresh Lairds Apple Brandy Barrels to rest for their final 9 months.
