I had a lot better experience than others that have had this beer but I also had it in Saint John, New Brunswick, 5km from the brewery and I had it on tap before Small Batch was a thing and I enjoyed it!

This was ... not good. Heavy and dark and sweet (described accurately as burnt pancakes and syrup) but also weirdly very sour, like raw lime juice. Not sure if that was on purpose or not...

Good caramel and maple flavour, but also a bit too sweet. Malty, but also thin somehow. Bit of a mixed bag, but overall pretty enjoyable.
