PHASES is an export stout that has character imparted from the wood that has held it during it's journey to maturity. This beer has been aged for 10 months in ex bourbon barrels. This is a big dry stout with smooth dark chocolate, vanilla and oak flavours.

Nice aroma but a funny taste, it's got a tartness to it and I checked with the barman and he thought it was ok. Also for a barrel aged beer I would expect it to have a higher abv
