Bourbon barrel-aged bochet with six different berries, further conditioned on Ugandan vanilla beans. Blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, bilberries, black- and red currants. Same doofusly treatment as the other "Doofuses" with caramelized sunflower honey and extra dark maple syrup. Only here taken another step by aging it in freshly emptied Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels for additional 7 months. Giving away dark caramel, almost like a slightly salty fruit caramel, together with vanilla and maple notes in between the flavor explosion of all the jammy wildberries. Sweet, but all kept in check by a firm acidity and the wood-aging. --------------------------------------------------------- Barrel origin: 8 year Buffalo Trace Mash #1 barrels Honey origin and variety: Ukrainian sunflower honey (caramelized) Berry origin: Poland and Serbia
