A bottle-conditioned beer, Vintage Ale continues to mature right up until it’s opened. When the time comes, expect a deep amber pour with notes of sherry and Cognac on the nose, and rich, complex flavours that hint at toasted grains and sweet cherry Bakewell Tart.

Jeg trodde jeg hadde en eller to igjen av 2023, men har iallefall flere 2024. For kald i begynnelsen, men Christmas-pudding-fruktig som jeg husker den. Må få kjøpt inn et snes 2025.

Falt i fristelse dagen før dagen. Nå som Vinmonopolet har kutta 1845 og Proper Job har blitt boksøl, tror jeg desverre dette er eneste engelske real ale (in bottle) tilgjengelig på polet. Så litt andektighet og Andenken på tampen av andakten. 2024.
