Rum barrel fermentation is a perfect match for the deliciously complex Chimay Grande Réserve, adding an amazing tropical twist to the mix. Aromas of dried fruit, apricot and peach combine beautifully with this beer’s intense caramel, chocolatey flavour. Bold oak, vanilla, orange and brown candy sugar, the typical accents delivered by rum casks, are layered with subtle notes of hazelnut and almond. 10.5% ABV
