Thick looking pitch black pour with a brown head and some lacing. Strong coffee aroma with a hint of vanilla. Flavor is coffee dominated, but because of age, there's green pepper notes. Hints of vanilla, chocolate and caramel. Body seems thin. Can't rate.

LCI. Been a long time since I've had this. Coffee beer and pastry stouts have come a long way since this first came out. It is still an excellent coffee stout, pouring dark and oily with big choc malt flavour and subtle addition of lactose. A sipper.
