Bottling date: 11/03/2022 Nocturne is a spontaneously fermented full malt beer. Not your typical lambik beer, but our take on a Vlaams Oud Bruin. The beer was brewed with five different barley malts, from pilsner malt to dark roasted malts, and no wheat whatsoever. This batch was brewed in March 2018 with more dark chocolate malt, and put on barrels for four years before we blended it with a small portion of freshly brewed Nocturne. The weighted average age of this beer upon bottling is 45 months. NL Nocturne is een assemblage van door 3 Fonteinen gebrouwen donkere volmoutbieren en traditionele lambik. Spontaan vergist. Gerijpt op eiken vaten. Lange bewaring op fles. Ongefilterd. Ongepasteuriseerd. FR Nocturne est un assemblage de bières de malt complet foncées et du lambic traditionnel, brassées par 3 Fonteinen. Fermenté spontanément. Élevé en fûts de chêne. Longue conservation en bouteille. Non filtré. Non pasteurisé. EN Nocturne is a blend of 3 Fonteinen brewed dark full malt beers and traditional lambic. Spontaneously fermented. Matured in oak barrels. Extended bottle ageing. Unfiltered. Unpasteurised.
