DS. FN: pine, earth & grapefruit rind nose. Bitter bite of pine & grapefruit blossom into caramel/toffee & figs in just the taste. Moderately high bitterness. Alcohol well-hidden. Semi-smooth mouthfeel. Bigfoot found! Happy Father's Day!

This is good. Has the layers of biscuit of an English barleywine, but ample bitterness that reminds me of Northern Brewer hops (perfect for #BiL). Coffee soaked sultana raisins. Dry. I really, REALLY prefer this style over the 13%+ diabetes bombs.
