Bar Czar

Almost has a vinous aroma. A bit sweet, a touch chocolatey. Flavor is very fruity, reminiscent of an old ale but with a distinct tart fruity character and a very roasty, still fairly hot finish. Good, but overpriced.

[Backlog from Ratebeer] On tap (7 years ago). Flavours are really sweet and of malt, coffee, chocolate and fruits (especially prunes). Full body and oily texture. Not bad but unfortunately not terribly balanced either. The newer vintages are much better.
