Not rating this as it would be an unfair assessment. 6+ years after target drinking window. Coffee flavor went south and it lost its characteristic BCBS body and tones. I’m sure it was great early on, but this is why we don’t cellar these beers so long.

Pours out pitch black in color with a nice head that disappears. Smell and taste of coffee, bourbon, malt, toffee, oak and vanilla. Still holding strong.

Not offensive. Somewhat mild in taste with a bit of acidity coming thru. Great mouthfeel. I like that the chocolate and coffee notes are there but not strong.
