Chocolate, caramel, somewhat vinous nose. Sweet, that wheatwine hits hard. Getting raisin, caramel, prunes. Barrel on breath. The wine grapes are quite strong in this blend. Had a pitcher of this at the blending comp, had to get an honest review in

This is not the only Hoarders Cuvée to have featured the agave wheatwine, but the character it contributes to the final flavor strikes me as different. Rather than being tequila-forward, it adds a distinct type of sweetness that adds to the complexity.

Solid barrel aged stout with a nice bit of vinous, jammy fruit that is well balanced and not overpowering. Thankfully almost no agave wheatwine in evidence at all either. The vinous notes become more pronounced as it warms, quite nice.
