GOLD WAX = Double barrel aged. We got together with the amazing Marius of Marlobobo to dream up this project over a year. Starting with a massive blueberry maple pancake lassi gose in fresh Four Roses Bourbon barrels this beer then got transferred into a Marlobobo blueberry Aquavit mead barrel. Finished in a post barrel blend with 120 liters of Stevsnberry (Cherry) juice courtesy Marlobobo. Please enjoy the fruits of our labour! Henok and Marius

So much going on… Scent of blueberry and barrel notes. Taste of blueberry, barrel notes and lots of sour cherries. Just a tiny hint of carbonation makes this one very drinkable. A bit too sour to my taste, but still world class stuff!

Nok egentlig ikke min stilart og indledningsvis virker den også simpel af solbærsaft. Som den udvikler sig synes jeg dog den får en vis kompleksitet af bourbon fadlagring, blåbær og lidt malt.
