Milky King Julius is a rendition of one of our favorite Double IPAs, brewed to carry an even greater hop saturation and opacity than the original. It encompasses the sum of all the knowledge we have gained experimenting with new malt, yeast, and processes over the last two years. You may wonder what separates this beer from the original King Julius—well, just about everything! We utilize a softer water profile, wheat in the grist, a different yeast blend, and a hop charge 30% larger than the original. Pouring a milky orange color into your glass, it leads with juicy, ripe citrus, mango nectar, and bursts with a melange of melon notes before finishing with a firm, short-lasting bitterness. The king is back and has never tasted this smooth
