A Czech style pilsner brewed for MBCC in collaboration with Mikkeller and Budvar for #yearofthelager. This beer was brewed with under-modified malt from Jaren Malt and Czech Saaz hops. We used a traditional double decoction mash for this beer to create a full rich malt character to balance the high hopping rate of Saaz throughout the boil, the beer was then fermented cool and under pressure. The result is a clean crisp pilsner with lemon and herbal notes from the Czech hops.
