I don’t think we have ever tried a CLAG beer that wasn’t an IPA, barleywine, sour or stout. Very blood orange heavy to the point that it obfuscates the underlying beer style (we couldn’t tell you it’s a Hefeweizen). With that said, it’s very refreshing.

Was expecting more classic hefeweizen, but it's more like a fruited wheat. Blood orange juice aroma. Tart, sweet, tangerine, orange, juice.

I am a sucker for blood orange. So added to a hefe? Brilliant! Deep orange juice colored pour. Fresh squeezed citrus on the nose. Wheat bitterness on the palate. Light bodied with a refreshing blood orange citrus finish. Yeah it’s that good!
