Our Vandervelden series, named after the brewery‘s founder, Henri Vandervelden, is known for the complexities arising from only foeder-aged Lambic. To celebrate the 140th anniversary of Oud Beersel, a unique blend was composed, with one- and two-year-old lambics from 40 HL foeders and three-year-old lambic from a 120 HL foeder. The average age of the blend was 30 months, which gives this refined Oude Geuze an extraordinary complexity.
