Still half chilled, just a decent pepper stout. But as it neared room temperature, the coffee came through (nothing vegetal), and a hint of vanilla sweetness. I’m impressed that this still retained much of its complexity, it exceeded my expectations.

Side by side, current vs. blue wax (late 2013) blue wax has WAY better nose (vanilla, whiskey, oak) current has thicker mouthfeel and more chocolate
