“Pathfinder” is so called as it’s made with the first pears we pick, all from one orchard in Great Washbourne, in the very north of Gloucestershire, mere metres away from Worcestershire.

Light aroma reminiscent of Pear William liqueur. Flavours are also quite understated with mainly dry watermelon, lychee and pears and cream. Hint of vanilla in the aftertaste. Different indeed to what we had before.

Merry Perry day no. #3: Pear & vanilla aromas. Pears in cream taste touch of yellow melon. Lightly tart finish.

A belated Ridiculously Good Perry Monday (it’s obviously actually Tuesday), I was travelling all day yesterday down from Scotland so no perry for me on Mon. This is gorgeous, still, tastes and smells barrel-aged (unpeated) but nothing in the label to say.
