Bakery vanilla, fudge and marshmallow are mellow but still very much present, particularly when the beer is cold from the fridge. Mingles well with the bourbon barrel and spirit traits that take over as the beer opens. Bottled 2020-11-19 and aging well.

When I had this fresh I was not a fan of the marshmallow coconut sweetness, after five years it has mellowed. Aroma is all barrel, flavor is bourbon and chocolate. Warming and smooth. 4.39. Tired of getting rained on while yardworking, this is better.

A gift from Brad G. Boy am I lucky I got to try this. It’s chocolatey burbon goodness. It’s got a hint of marshmallow and vanilla and it’s so smooth it is a fantastic beer!it’s keeping us warm while watching the Thing during a blizzard.
