Woodford Reserve Rye Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with Red Cinnamon, Vanilla, Poppy Seeds, Hot Smoked Bacon, Cacao Nibs & Hazelnuts. Compared to more modern pastry stouts, Magnus Opus 2020 is an old school stout with adjuncts. Huge amounts of cold smoked bacon gives a smoky, salty flavor. Along with red cinnamon and rye barrels you get a hot, spicy and savory hotness both in aroma and flavor. Less vanilla, less lactose sugar and more traditional dry, spicy savoriness.
