Philthy

This bottle has been cellared since 2017. Interesting, it has matured well but not to the point that I would say it was worth it. It's less vanilla sweet, more aromatic and some of the coffee bitterness has been replaced by hops. Still a killer stout!

Backlog. Surprisingly restrained sweetness, vanilla, chocolate and faint spicy notes in the aroma. Medium-to-heavy body, very slight sweetness with insignificant bitterness. Again, restrained sweetness, vanilla, chocolate and distinct gingerbread spice.
